Design and Construction Projects
Lockheed Martin - Palmdale, California
Provided project management for several energy conservation pojects at the famous "Skunk Works" facility. Projects included:
installation of VFDs on chilled and condenser water pumping to limit unnecessary energy use on oversized equipment, upgrading
the EMCS to provide new monitoring capabilites and energy saving sequencing; and providing monitoring services for proof of
savings for utility energy rebates.
Tempe Union High School District - Tempe, Arizona
Designed the first phase of a district-wide EMCS including the initial installation of systems at two of the high school campuses
and a front-end computer system at the district office.
Arizona State University (ASU) - Tempe, Arizona
Developed and managed the design, contractor selection, and installation of an EMCS connecting more than 60 campus buildings. Also
designed a second EMCS for the chilled water plant, including nine chillers and a six-million-gallon thermal energy storage (TES) system.
El Centro Regional Medical Center - El Centro, California
Provided construction and contract management for the Center's multi-million-dollar energy savings retrofit project, including lighting,
two central plants with chiller and boiler systems, retrofit and expansion of the EMCS, as well as pre- and post-verification of
savings as required by the Imperial Irrigation District.
Universal Technical Institute (UTI)
Provided EMCS design, construction management, EMCS and HVAC system commissioning, and operational analysis within four campuses.
General Services Administration, Region 9
Designed, engineered and managed construction for the GSA Region 9 web-based GEMnet project which networked eleven government EMCSs
through a common platform within a multi-state region.
Maricopa County Community College District - Arizona
Provided design, engineering, plans and specifications; developed request for proposals; performed vendor interviews, proposal
reviews, vendor selection, and construction management of Maricopa County Community College District's multi-campus EMCS upgrade
and expansion project. Provided investigation of the district's EMCS conditions, evaluated the existing vendor market, and provided
a master plan to carry out the expansion and integration of all campuses while leveraging the district's current EMCS investments.
Motorola Inc. - Phoenix, Arizona
Designed, specified, and construction/contract managed the installation of state-of-the-art automation systems within four of
Motorola's facilities in the Phoenix area.
Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino - Las Vegas, Nevada
Provided design review services of mechanical systems throughout the facility.
