Central Plant Projects
Harrah's Laughlin - Laughlin, Nevada
Conducted extensive monitoring of the chilled water system to determine the cause for a lack of capacity during peak cooling
periods. The analysis resulted in the implementation of a project that provided the additional flow required to rent rooms that
were previously too uncomfortable for guests.
Queens Center Mall - Queens, New York
Collected and analyzed trend data to prove energy savings for a utility energy rebate program on a new central plant design
incorporating VSDs on chillers, pumps, and tower fans.
University of Southern California (USC) - Los Angeles, California
Conducted chilled water system monitoring and analysis throughout the campus in support of a master plan for installing a campus-wide
distributed chilled water system.
Chrysler Assembly Plant - Fenton, Missouri
One project completed at this facility included dynamic flow control of condenser and chilled water systems to prevent starvation of
some downstream chillers. These improvements eliminated assembly plant downtimes normally experienced during peak cooling periods.
Another project was the writing and presentation of a plant-operator training manual.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Las Vegas, Nevada
Performed design review of system-components configuration, and conducted monitoring services to determine installed system limitations.
Developed a detailed sequence of operation for the 12,000 ton, series-parallel, primary variable flow configuration. Coordinated the
efforts of the design engineer, equipment manufacturer, and controls contractor in developing the most efficient method of plant operation.
